Weyerbacher Zotten to be renamed “Verboten”

(Easton, PA) – Weyerbacher Brewing wasted no time in submitting a new label for the discontinued Zotten brand. The Pennsylvanian brewery recently sent out a press release, as required by the offended brewery, explaining why the Zotten package had to be discontinued. The beer will now be called Weyerbacher Verboten. Verboten is another way of saying “forbidden.” Nothing about the beer itself will change.

Dogfish Head Wrath of Pecant to be released mid-March

dfh_wrath-2(Milton, DE) – Dogfish Head will soon release the BA/DFH collaboration beer it debuted at Beer Advocate’s Extreme Beer Fest, Wrath of Pecant, in bottles.

According to a brewery rep, there will be 750-800 cases of the beer released beginning the weekend of March 12-13. This is “The Weekend of Compelling of Ales and Whatnot.” Those who are one of the first 100 to sign up for a tour will have the option to buy up to Continue reading
