		<description>Scandalous! I think the NYT article said that chicha is no longer made by chewing the corn or one of the commenters said that. 

That said, I&#039;ve never quite taken to berlinerweiss. A bit too imbalanced for me.</description>

There isn&#039;t a traditional Peruvian Chicha its mostly from Colombia, totally different cultures of indigenous people.. oh well most people would never quaff chicha if they actually tried it from Colombia as it is made using the enzymes from your saliva after chewing the corn, and is quite sour think berlinerwiess...
