(Chicago, IL) – Binny’s in South Loop has posted on its website a beer tasting taking place this Thursday, September 4, 5:00-7:00pm. The featured beer will be none other than the 2008 edition of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout with bottles being sold at the event as well. Unless there is a contract in place (which I only say because we are beginning to see this a bit more now), I would assume that the beer should be making its way around to other locations shortly as well. As for its merits, it is ranked #26 overall on Beer Advocate and #36 overall on RateBeer. [ed: I checked to see if Binny's ships and they do not.]
