Grassroots is right, it is very tough to get to the 20% ABV mark.  This initial release will be in the 17-18% range, as the base beer tastes great and I don&#039;t want to screw it up with enzymes and champagne or distillers yeast!  I&#039;m reluctant to sacrifice flavor for alcohol just for the sake of getting above 20%.  This beer is aging in bourbon barrels and won&#039;t be released until October 2009 or so.

		<description>The Bruery&#039;s Imperial Stout would have to reach a terminal gravity of 4 Plato to reach the 20% alcohol range.  Seems unlikely... 37 P to 4 Plato.  Best of Luck!</description>
