Rumor: Southern Tier Creme Brulee next up in Blackwater Series

southern-tier-logo.jpg(Lakewood, NY) – Southern Tier could be brewing something vanilla-accented for its next beer in this critically acclaimed series. The report says that it will be called “Creme Brulee” according to a Southern Tier representative. It wouldn’t be the first dessert-like beer in the series; the brewery earned major attention with its imperial stout, Choklat, this past fall. Many breweries are shifting the paradigm to styles that they have not brewed before as a result of the hop shortage. This rumor comes courtesy of the owner of Drinkcraftbeer.com.
